Daniel for Kids
I dedicated three days of my time to attend the Daniel Memorial Conference in Denver, Colorado 2023. I had faith that God would watch over me during my journey, and I'm incredibly relieved that I made this choice. The youth at the conference were in need of hearing my story, and the warmth of their hugs and affection was overwhelming. Among them, Rowan Miska stood out and truly touched my heart. I have high hopes for Rowan's future, as well as for the other youth we encountered over the course of these three days.
One of the most painful aspects was listening to these young individuals share their stories of challenging backgrounds. Their questions of "Why could you not love me?" were heartbreaking. However, it was heartening to witness the solidarity that they found within each other. The immense love displayed by these children in care left me deeply moved. I want to express my gratitude to Michael Guinn for providing me with the opportunity to create a meaningful impact in their lives.
Speaking at a Domestic Violence Event
Allow me to share another testament to the workings of God. The event organizer wanted me to provide massages, but I expressed my reluctance. Subsequently, she informed me that another massage therapist was arranged. Later, she suggested, "You can be one of my Keynote Speakers, focusing on Wellness. and healing" I agreed, and our communication ceased. Attending the event, I was uncertain about what I would be doing, but God had a plan. Remarkably, the massage therapist she brought in happened to be the lady I had previously trained and encouraged to pursue massage school. Truly, "That's God."
